July and August have been very productive
July and August have been very good and big fish are caught every day. Most days have had great fishing in July and August. This time of year many think that the big fish have gone to deeper water, but at our beats on the lake this is not the case. The fishing of course becomes more technical in the middle of the summer. The fish becomes more shy and longer and thinner leaders usually get more action. Smaller nymphs and dry flies have been the best. We have had many reports from very happy anglers on amazing sights of large schools of monster brown trout. Casting your dry fly #18 for twenty pound brown trout is some of the most exciting fishing you can do.
Now the autumn is almost here and the fishing stops september 15th there are still a few days left so if you want to meet up with a monster before the end of the season now is your change. It will be really interesting to see what the september fishing will produce.
